This Reykjavik cruise port tour is one of the best ways to explore Iceland's raw natural beauty in a single, expertly guided journey.

Departing directly from the Reykjavik cruise port, this Reykjanes Peninsula tour takes you into one of Iceland's youngest and most geologically active regions. Your adventure begins at Lake Kleifarvatn, a striking volcanic lake framed by black sand shores and rugged mountain landscapes that immediately showcase Iceland's wild charm. Next, explore the Seltun geothermal area, a vibrant landscape of steaming vents, bubbling mud pools, and colorful mineral deposits that highlight the island's powerful geothermal energy.

Continue to Brimketill lava rock pool, where the Atlantic Ocean crashes against sculpted volcanic rock, creating dramatic coastal views perfect for photography. A stop in the traditional fishing village of Grindavik offers a glimpse into local Icelandic life and a chance to relax and recharge.

One of the standout highlights of this Reykjavik shore excursion is the Fagradalsfjall volcano viewpoint, where newly formed lava fields reveal Iceland's ever-changing volcanic landscape. The journey continues to Reykjanesviti lighthouse and the spectacular Valahnukamol cliffs, offering sweeping ocean vistas and unforgettable scenery.

Experience the intense energy of Gunnuhver geothermal hot springs, one of Iceland's most active steam areas, before stepping across the famous Bridge Between Continents, where you can stand between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
